TERMS + POLICIES

10.1 Conditions of Entry
Entry to GASWRX is subject to these Conditions of Entry, the terms attached to the relevant ticket and any event-specific rules. By entering the venue, guests agree to comply with them.

Tickets and age
Guests must hold a valid ticket, accreditation or invitation. Tickets that are duplicated, altered, cancelled, refunded, fraudulently obtained or purchased through an unauthorised source may be rejected. Guests must meet the published age restriction and provide acceptable photographic identification when required.

Mandatory ID scanning
All public ticketed events operate mandatory electronic ID scanning as a condition of entry, subject to the venue’s approved operating procedures and applicable law. A guest who cannot or will not complete the required identification process may be refused admission.

Search and screening
Public ticketed events operate a 100% search and screening baseline applying to patrons and, in accordance with the approved operating plan, relevant staff, contractors and performers. Screening may include ticket checks, bag and personal searches, walk-through metal-detection arches, handheld detection equipment and secondary screening.
If the required screening baseline cannot be maintained, entry may be paused until the approved measures are restored. Refusal to participate in a required search or screening process will result in refusal of entry.

Right to refuse admission
The venue may refuse entry where it reasonably believes a person does not hold a valid ticket, fails an age or identification requirement, is intoxicated, is under the influence of illegal substances, behaves aggressively, presents a risk, carries a prohibited item, refuses screening, attempts unauthorised commercial activity or fails to follow staff instructions.

Conduct and removal
Guests must not threaten, assault, harass or discriminate against another person; engage in unwanted sexual behaviour; damage property; enter restricted areas; climb structures; throw objects; obstruct exits; interfere with safety equipment; supply illegal substances; conduct unauthorised sales or promotions; or ignore reasonable staff instructions. A guest may be removed without refund and serious incidents may be reported to the police.

Alcohol and illegal substances
Alcohol may only be purchased and consumed in accordance with the venue licence. Service may be refused to anyone who appears intoxicated or cannot provide valid proof of age. The possession, use, supply or attempted supply of illegal substances is prohibited.
Capacity and room access
Access to individual rooms is subject to their safe operating capacity. Areas may temporarily close or operate one-in, one-out. A general-admission ticket does not guarantee continuous access to every room.

Event changes
Artists, line-ups, set times, room allocations, production arrangements and opening times may change. Except where required by law or ticket terms, changes to supporting artists, set times or room allocations do not automatically create a right to a refund.

CCTV, filming and recording
CCTV operates throughout the venue and relevant external areas for safety, security, crime prevention and incident management. The venue and event partners may carry out photography, audio recording and filming. Unauthorised commercial photography, recording, filming or live streaming is prohibited.

Personal belongings
Guests remain responsible for personal belongings. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the venue is not responsible for loss, theft or damage unless caused by negligence or another liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Sound and effects
Events may include high sound levels, strobe lighting, lasers, smoke, haze, flashing images, pyrotechnics and other production effects. Guests who may be affected should review event information and seek advice where appropriate.
Emergency instructions
Guests must follow emergency announcements and staff instructions immediately, keep exits and emergency routes clear and must not attempt to re-enter after an evacuation unless authorised.

Re-entry, smoking and legal rights
Re-entry is not permitted unless specifically authorised. Smoking and vaping are permitted only in designated outdoor areas. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10.2 Prohibited Items
The following list is not exhaustive. Venue management may refuse any item considered dangerous, illegal, disruptive or unsuitable.
• Illegal drugs and controlled substances
• Weapons, knives, blades, sharp objects, firearms or imitation firearms
• Explosives, fireworks, flares, smoke devices and pyrotechnics
• Pepper spray, incapacitant sprays and similar devices
• Glass bottles, external alcohol, open drinks and unsealed liquids
• Large bags, suitcases and oversized luggage
• Unauthorised professional cameras, detachable lenses and audio-recording equipment
• Drones, laser pens, high-powered laser devices and air horns
• Hazardous chemicals, flammable liquids, gas or nitrous-oxide canisters
• Large chains or items capable of being used as weapons
• Rigid flag or banner poles
• Unauthorised promotional materials, graffiti equipment or items intended for sale
• Furniture, stools and folding chairs
• Animals other than approved assistance dogs
• Items bearing threatening, abusive or discriminatory content

Medication
Essential medication and necessary medical equipment are permitted. Original packaging is recommended. Advance contact is advisable for liquids, injections, sharps or specialist equipment.
Confiscated or refused items
Illegal items may be handed to the police. Other prohibited items may be refused at entry. The venue is not obliged to store or return them. The decision of venue management is final.

10.3 Ticketing Terms
Tickets may be sold by GASWRX, an event promoter or an authorised external provider. The organisation named as the seller is responsible for the transaction and relevant ticketing enquiries.

Booking and delivery
A booking is confirmed when the provider issues confirmation. Guests must check the event, number and type of tickets, contact information and restrictions. Tickets may be delivered by email, app, wallet or another provider method.

Fees and refunds
Booking, transaction, delivery or facility fees may apply and will be shown during purchase. Tickets are not normally refundable unless an event is cancelled, rescheduled with an applicable refund option, a refund is required by law or expressly authorised.

Cancellation and rescheduling
For cancelled or rescheduled events, the authorised provider will contact the lead booker. Existing tickets will normally remain valid for a replacement date. Any refund window may be limited.

Resale and transfers
Tickets must not be resold for commercial gain. Use official resale or transfer facilities only. Tickets bought through unauthorised sellers may be duplicated, invalid, cancelled or fraudulent and are purchased at the buyer’s risk.

Refused entry
A ticket does not remove the need to comply with the Conditions of Entry. Refunds will not normally be issued where a guest fails an age, identification, ID-scanning or security requirement; arrives after last entry; is intoxicated; carries a prohibited item; breaches rules; or presents an invalid ticket.

Liability
Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to applicable law, the venue and organiser are not responsible for indirect losses, travel costs, accommodation costs or similar expenses arising from cancellation, rescheduling or refused admission.
