Everything you need to know before attending an event at GASWRX.

Please check your event details before travelling, including opening times, last entry and age restrictions. All guests must complete ticket checks, 100% ID scanning and 100% security screening before entry, so please arrive in plenty of time.

Please arrive early. Public ticketed events use mandatory ID scanning and structured security screening. Entry may include ticket verification, bag and personal searches, walk-through metal-detection arches and secondary screening where required. Refusal to complete a required entry procedure will result in refusal of admission.

Valid photographic identification will be required regardless of apparent age. Accepted identification will include a valid passport, photocard driving licence or recognised PASS-accredited proof-of-age card.

Download your ticket before arrival and ensure your phone has sufficient battery. Screenshots may not be accepted if  moving or refreshing barcodes are used.

Please plan your journey in advance and check live transport information before travelling. There is no onsite parking at GASWRX. The nearest main railway stations are Birmingham Moor Street and Birmingham New Street, both within walking distance of Digbeth. Nearby public parking includes Trinity Street Car Park, Heath Mill Lane, B9 4AL, and Millennium Point Multi-Storey Car Park, Howe Street, B4 7AP. 
Licensed taxis and private hire services operate throughout the area.

• Tracksuits and full matching sportswear sets are not permitted.
• Football shirts and football clothing are not permitted (except for football fan park events)
• Face masks, balaclavas and other face coverings are not permitted.
• Clothing displaying offensive, discriminatory, threatening or gang-related imagery is not permitted.
• Trainers, casual clothing and festival attire are welcome.
• ROAR – Right of Admission Reserved.

• Weapons, knives, blades or any item that could reasonably be used as a weapon
• Firearms, imitation firearms or ammunition.
• Illegal drugs, psychoactive substances or unidentified substances.
• Nitrous oxide canisters or balloons.
• Fireworks, flares, smoke devices or pyrotechnics.
• Lasers or laser pens.
• Outside food or drink.
• Umbrellas

• Glass bottles or containers.
• Large bags (larger than A4 size), suitcases or oversized luggage.
• Professional cameras or recording equipment without prior approval.
• Drones, air horns and similar devices.
• Any item considered dangerous or unsuitable by venue management or security.

• Re-entry is not normally permitted.
• The venue will operate primarily as a cashless environment.
• Cloakroom available
• Outside food and drink cannot normally be brought inside.
• Free drinking water is available from designated points or upon request.
• Smoking and vaping are only permitted in designated outdoor areas.
• Personal mobile-phone photography is normally permitted; professional equipment requires approval.

Harassment, violence, intimidation, discrimination, unwanted sexual behaviour and threatening conduct will not be tolerated. Anyone placing guests, staff or artists at risk may be refused entry or removed.

GASWRX is committed to making our events as accessible and welcoming as possible.
 
• All principal public areas are accessible to wheelchair users, with the exception of the Main Room mezzanine.
• Accessible toilet facilities are available within the venue.
• Our team can provide assistance with entry and access requirements where required.
• Companion / Personal Assistant tickets are available for guests who require support to attend an event.
• A welfare team is available during events
