Safety + Accessibility
Security, welfare, medical provision and event control form part of the planning for every public event at GASWRX. Measures include mandatory ID scanning for public ticketed events, 100% search and screening, walk-through metal-detection arches, secondary screening where required, professional security, extensive CCTV coverage, event-control procedures, capacity monitoring, onsite medical provision and dedicated welfare support.
For security reasons, detailed operational procedures are not published online. Guests should follow all reasonable instructions from venue staff.
Welfare + medical support
Guests who feel unwell, unsafe, overwhelmed or separated from friends should speak to any member of security, welfare, medical, bar or venue staff. Concerns can be escalated immediately to the appropriate team.
Accessibility
All principal public areas are accessible to wheelchair users apart from the Mezzanine. Accessible toilets and accessible viewing arrangements are available. Because layouts vary between events, guests with accessibility requirements should contact the venue in advance so the team can confirm routes, viewing arrangements and any reasonable assistance required.
Medication + assistance dogs
Essential medication and necessary medical equipment are permitted, subject to security checks. Registered assistance dogs are welcome; advance contact is recommended due to high sound levels, lighting effects and crowds.
Production effects
Events may include high sound levels, strobe lighting, flashing images, lasers, smoke or haze, pyrotechnics, confetti and sudden lighting changes. Event-specific warnings will be published where available.
